Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA)Meritus Health, an independent and nationally recognized hospital, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This hospital-employed position promises a high-volume caseload and a supportive environment for professional growth.Responsibilities:Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and perform follow-up care.Assist in surgeries and procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care.Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients.Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.Contribute to the continuous improvement of neurosurgical services.Requirements:Meet credentialing requirements for Maryland state licensure, clinical privileges, and medical staff membership.Hold a current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) with a focus or experience in neurosurgery.Demonstrate excellent clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.Exhibit a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Caring for Our Team We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
