Full-Time Residential Treatment Specialist-Women's Program

Overview Community & Family Resources is an organization committed to providing comprehensive substance abuse and behavioral health services. We are currently seeking Full-Time Treatment Specialists in Des Moines to work directly with adult Women within our residential treatment program- Women's Unit. As a Treatment Specialist at Community & Family Resources, you will be part of an organization with a strong sense of purpose and a team that strives to create a positive recovery experience for our patients. Treatment Specialists exemplify our values as they provide services that are person centered, advocate for patients and act with integrity and respect. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Monitor and document patient behavior, facilitate patient activities, and coordinate treatment with counseling staff Complete admissions paperwork and conduct initial patient orientation Update patient electronic records with status changes, progress notes, and reports Facilitate groups using approved curriculum Schedule Evenings: Full-Time - Sunday-Thursday (3p-11:30p) Qualifications Community & Family Resources values employees that have both personal and/or professional experiences with recovery. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and competent computer skills. Preferred candidates will have experience or continued education in a human services or related field. Salary And Benefits Base pay for this position is $16.00/hour. Candidate’s pay will be commensurate with experience and education.
