Operations Specialist

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is seeking one full‑time Operations Specialist to work in the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Integration Directorate at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. The position is classified NH‑301‑03 and has an anticipated 2026 salary range with locality of $101,375 - $156,715. Recruitment, relocation, retention, and student loan incentives may be authorized. The primary purpose of this role is to serve as Executive Support Specialist for the ICBM Systems Directorate and as a Supervisory Acquisition Program Manager for the Sentinel System Integration Segment, supporting the modernization of the Ground‑Based ICBM system. Duties Works in the NC3 Operations Division within the Force Management Branch. Manages the training and development program for the Directorate. Executes the Acquisition Professional Development Program for the Director. Responsible for military upgrade training, deployment readiness training, and total force annual training for personnel at seven locations. Aggregates training data and presents it to the deputy director monthly. Directs the onboarding and off‑boarding programs. Serves as the Unit Deployment Manager. Required Skills and Experience Minimum of two years of relevant experience and background in personnel management. Ability to execute as an administrator on Air Force training systems. Ability to plan, organize, and lead critical aspects of directorate‑wide efforts and integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of efforts in support of the process. Desired Skills and Experience Experience with data collection and visualization tools. Ability to facilitate meetings and advise senior leaders as a subject‑matter expert. Experience working independently. Requirements for the Position (Not All Inclusive) U.S. citizenship. Must be SECRET eligible; the incumbent must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance. Active SECRET clearance is preferred. Current clearance level should be included with the resume.
