Trade Support Linux Engineer

A prestigious company is looking for a Trade Support Linux Engineer. This role will focus on Linux front and backend trade application support. This role will work with log files, python, Perl, automation, production support for Unix/Linux. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Work arrangement: Hybrid, a couple days a week onsite Eligibility to work: We are unable to sponsor as this is a permanent full-time role Qualifications & Responsibilities Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments Proactive identification and resolution of production issues Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements/automation with scripting Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues Production deployments of all infrastructure components Off hours pager support on a rotating schedule Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands Database knowledge with SQL - MySQL, InfluxDB Strong scripting knowledge - Python/Bash Experience using Grafana/InfluxDB/Icinga Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr Request Technology, LLC
