### Cookie Noticefor details.## About This RoleRivCut is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this critical role, you will ensure that all parts leaving our facility meet the exacting standards required by our aerospace, medical, and automotive customers.You'll work with precision measuring equipment including CMMs, optical comparators, and a full range of hand tools to verify part conformance to customer specifications. Your documentation and inspection records will support our quality management system and customer requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about quality who wants to work in a precision manufacturing environment where accuracy and attention to detail are valued.## Key Responsibilities* Perform first-article and in-process inspections on CNC machined parts* Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for complex inspections* Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, pin gauges)* Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications* Create and maintain inspection reports and quality records* Identify and document nonconformances* Work with production team to resolve quality issues* Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials* Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment* Support internal and external audits* Assist with corrective action investigations* Maintain organized inspection area and equipment records## Requirements* 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing* Proficiency with CMM operation and programming (PC-DMIS, Zeiss, or similar)* Strong knowledge of GD&T symbols and interpretation* Experience with precision measuring instruments* Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Good documentation and record-keeping skills* Computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems* High school diploma required; associate degree or certifications preferred## Preferred Qualifications* ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification* Experience in aerospace or medical device manufacturing* AS9100 or ISO 13485 experience* CMM programming experience* Experience with optical comparators and vision systems* Blueprint reading certification## Benefits & Perks* Competitive hourly rate: $25 - $34/hour depending on experience* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid time off and holidays* Overtime opportunities available (time and a half)* Training and certification support* Climate-controlled inspection area* Modern inspection equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
