Intake Specialist

Overview Ohel is seeking a talented, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Access Team. The Access/Intake department provides a single point of entry for those seeking services and resources through Ohel, offering accessibility, relevant information and immediate linkage to the breadth of services. The role involves providing services to inquiries through the Access department and coordinating with various departments across the agency. Additional tasks include processing referrals in the centralized database, follow-up with appropriate services, obtaining and reviewing applicant information, and participating in in-reach and outreach activities. Responsibilities Provide services to inquiries that come through the Access department and coordinate with various departments throughout the agency. Process referrals in the centralized database; follow up with appropriate services; obtain and review applicant information; participate in in-reach and outreach services. Qualifications Excellent customer service skills; strong interpersonal skills; clinical sophistication; proficient computer skills. BA/BS preferred. Bilingual a plus. Benefits and Details Position is full-time, located in Brooklyn. Salary: $45,000–$50,000.
