The Accounts Payable Assistant plays a key role within the accounts payable team, managing vendor invoices and payments with accuracy and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, this position supports financial operations by processing invoices, maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Reconcile accounts payable discrepancies and resolve issues
• Perform data entry to update accounting systems
• Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage documentation related to accounts payable transactions

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in accounts payable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and data entry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
