NICU/PEDS Transport RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:00). Weekend shifts required (6 per 6 week schedule).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NICU/PEDS Transport RN with helicopter and ambulance transport experience. The role involves working within a Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma facility, focusing on neonates and pediatric patients needing urgent transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care during transport of patients.
• Administer medications and manage high-acuity pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Perform specialized procedures including intubation, central line blood draws, and management of medical equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care during transport.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience in NICU or PEDS transport.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Valid FL license or a compact license required at time of submittal.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
