Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Thoracic Location: Minneapolis, MN Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 8/10/2026 About the Position We are seeking a skilled Thoracic Surgeon for an exciting 60-day assignment in Minnesota, starting Aug 3, 2026. The Physician will provide advanced surgical care for thoracic oncology patients, encompassing a broad range of procedures from minimally invasive and robotic surgery to VATS, advanced bronchoscopy, and endoscopic procedures. This role involves a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, with additional overnight and weekend call. Responsibilities and Duties Provide advanced surgical care for thoracic oncology patients, including those with lung, chest wall, mediastinal, and pleural diseases. Perform a broad range of thoracic procedures including minimally invasive thoracic surgery, robotic surgery, VATS, advanced bronchoscopy, and endoscopic procedures for lungs and esophagus. Additional Information Board Certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery is required.
