Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pathology in Robbinsdale, MN

Doctor of Medicine | Pathology Location: Robbinsdale, MN Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The incoming physician will manage an average of 40 patients per day, reading approximately 80 to 100 cases. Clinical responsibilities include surgical pathology, GI, GU, neuro, dermato, and hematopathology (including bone marrow and lymph node interpretation). You will also oversee cytology and clinical pathology procedures such as microbiology, chemistry, and blood bank oversight. Additional duties include the rapid evaluation of adequacy for image-guided biopsies. Please note that locum providers are not required to gross their own specimens or cut their own frozen sections on the cryostat. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certified: Required. Education & Experience: Candidates must be able to perform all required anatomic and clinical pathology procedures mentioned above. Licensure: An active Minnesota license is preferred. Documentation: A National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) report pulled within 30 days of presentation is required. Technology: Experience with EPIC is preferred.
