Emerald Valley PT is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our new outpatient orthopedic clinic in Naples, Florida. In this full-time role, you will focus on delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including athletes and adults facing a variety of musculoskeletal challenges. Your responsibilities will encompass treating individuals from the initial injury phase through to post-operative recovery, as well as managing chronic conditions. Work Environment

This position will be performed onsite in our clinic located in beautiful Naples, Florida, known for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant community. The clinic environment is welcoming and patient-centered, fostering teamwork and communication among staff. You will typically work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, treating an average of 5-7 patients per day in a hands-on, interactive setting that allows for personalized and focused care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions through assessments and clinical tests, and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, corrective exercises, and modalities, to facilitate recovery and improve functionality.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and modifying treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery paths.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and optimal post-treatment care to promote long-term health.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with clinic policies and state regulations, ensuring compliance with best practices in healthcare.
• Continuously engage in professional development and stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy to enhance clinical skills and patient care approaches.

The patients you will serve at Emerald Valley PT encompass a full spectrum of orthopedic issues, including sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Many patients are active adults seeking to return to their daily activities or sports, requiring a therapist skilled in motivating and guiding individuals through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required; new graduates with relevant clinical rotations will also be considered.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, particularly manual therapy and functional movement assessments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to educate and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, particularly those involved in sports or those recovering from surgery.
• A background in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

Emerald Valley PT offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
