Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, equipped with the latest technologies and rehabilitation methodologies. Our facility is designed to promote positive patient outcomes and includes spacious treatment rooms, modern exercise areas, and collaborative team spaces. The work schedule is structured from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, providing a consistent and supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the state practice acts, ensuring compliance with laws governing the practice of physical therapy and the supervision of other therapy staff.

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients, developing individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function.

• Utilize advanced assessment tools to gather pertinent patient history, perform specialized evaluations, and accurately document findings while establishing clear care recommendations.

• Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, each patient's unique presentation, and the evolving landscape of healthcare.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, recognizing the need for modifications in patient care plans based on observed changes in their conditions.

• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring patients understand follow-up care and documenting treatment activities clearly and promptly.

• Participate in all mandatory corporate and clinical service training sessions to maintain licensing and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.

• Engage actively in facility meetings, contributing to discussions on patient access improvements and utilizing data to foster enhanced service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals suffering from orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient care. You will work closely with patients who have undergone surgeries, those navigating recovery from injuries, and those requiring rehabilitation for chronic pain, enhancing their functional abilities through targeted therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Florida, ensuring adherence to the highest professional standards.

• Minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and patient management.

• Active CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with advanced certifications in specialized areas such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation are highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and experience in a collaborative healthcare setting will also be favorable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits.
