The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their individual needs, goals, and appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement customized therapy sessions focused on restoring mobility and enhancing physical performance, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that each client receives the time and attention necessary for effective rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress by utilizing outcome measures and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention techniques to promote long-term health and well-being.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment modalities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically using Web PT software.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve orthopedic patients who are recovering from various conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation from joint replacements, fractures, tendonitis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your focus will be on providing individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they feel supported and motivated throughout their healing process.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Possess strong critical thinking skills and be knowledgeable about current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for efficient patient documentation is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong background working with post-operative patients will provide an advantage.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

Peak Performance Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
