Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and establish individualized care plans based on their needs and goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve the clients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs, offering solutions that promote independence.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in a comprehensive manner, ensuring clear communication and progress tracking.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patients' progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.
• Provide education and encouragement to patients, motivating them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Explore non-invasive treatment options to minimize dependency on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, addressing various conditions ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will help diverse populations, including athletes, seniors, and individuals recovering from injuries, tailoring your approach based on their unique scenarios and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated integrity with a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and development of effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically WebPT preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of implementing successful treatment plans that improve patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
