Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech (Cardiac Sonography) in Lawrenceville, GA. Travel assignment starting 11/09/2026 for 13 contract weeks at a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiography studies (e.g., transthoracic echo) with attention to image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare patients, position them for imaging, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, acquire standard views, optimize image quality, and document findings for interpretation.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and sonography team; communicate results promptly and accurately.
- Maintain equipment, follow infection control and safety protocols, and ensure proper patient labeling and records.
- Adhere to credentialing requirements (RDCS, RCS, RCCS, CRCS, or ACS) and maintain AHA BLS certification; participate in holiday coverage as assigned.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in echocardiography or a closely related specialty
- An appropriate credential in echocardiography: RDCS, RCS, RCCS, CRCS, or ACS
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet assignment requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing and interpreting cardiac ultrasound exams
- Active professional credentials as described; ability to travel and work a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule
