Description Sous Chef | Bent Tree Country Club | Dallas, TX Reports to: Executive Chef | Full-Time | Exempt Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members. Operational Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and club facilities Anticipate the needs and wants of members and staff, ensuring readiness and enthusiasm at all times Be available, visible, and communicate effectively with members to enhance their experience Prepare and cook various stations on the line as required, ensuring efficiency and quality Check the readiness of the line before service begins Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and review daily menu items Develop and execute seasonal menus for à la carte outlets in conjunction with the culinary team Hold team members accountable to established standards and procedures Ensure all food production meets the club’s quality standards and specifications Expedite food during service to maintain smooth operations Adhere to the club’s standards for guest service and satisfaction Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end private member equity club - preferred Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative menus Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred Education: High School Diploma Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management - preferred Certified Sous Chef - preferred Equivalent combination of education and exceptional professional experience will be considered. Physical Demands: In good physical condition to stand and work for extended periods of time. Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
