Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers while supporting the daily operations of our office. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are entered accurately, inquiries are resolved promptly, and communication remains professional and efficient. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service / Order Processing

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly while providing exceptional customer service.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, services, company policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by delivering a high level of service.

• Take customer orders by phone and email.
• Accurately enter orders, credits, and requests into the company's ERP system.
• Process invoices, credit memos, and other customer documentation.
• Coordinate and manage daily customer pickup orders.
• Review orders for accuracy and communicate any discrepancies to the appropriate departments.

• Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and account questions.
• Assist with maintaining customer records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Production, and Accounting to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Food service, wholesale distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm
• Full-time position
• Overtime may be available during busy seasons.
