As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aviation-related location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
