Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing our social workers the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our team. With access to a billing service that handles essential administrative tasks, therapists can focus on their clinical responsibilities without the burden of paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and couples therapy to clients of varying age ranges, addressing the unique emotional and psychological needs associated with terminal illness.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and inform tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and session summaries, in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Schedule ongoing appointments, manage an organized calendar, and ensure the continuity of care for each client.
• Collaboratively engage with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and to improve overall patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our work primarily focuses on patients who are receiving hospice care, encompassing individuals facing terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers. The LCSW will emphasis on providing emotional support, navigating grief, facilitating difficult conversations, and helping clients find peace and meaning during challenging times. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) with current LCSW licensure in Texas is required to practice independently.

• Availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, including at least 2 evenings per week, to accommodate client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with couples or families in a therapeutic setting will be given strong consideration.
• Familiarity with hospice environments and understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients and families in end-of-life care is advantageous.
• Proficient in managing a caseload effectively while navigating complex clinical presentations.

Compensation and Benefits
