Job Summary:
**This position is for 4-6 months, may be longer if necessary**
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience and must have hands-on experience using SAP .
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Review financial transactions for accuracy
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
- Prepare basic financial reports and accounting documentation
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work with other departments to resolve accounting-related questions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in general ledger or accounting
- Must have previous SAP experience
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
