Seeking a licensed Audiologist for a unique contract opportunity near Glendale Heights, IL. This role focuses on conducting an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) for auditory processing within a school setting. The assignment is project-based, requiring completion of one comprehensive evaluation in collaboration with a school nurse. This position offers a streamlined, one-time commitment with flexibility in scheduling around the evaluation, making it ideal for professionals seeking impactful short-term work in educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Audiologist license is required
- Previous experience conducting auditory processing evaluations, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school nurses, educators, and families
- Strong clinical documentation and reporting abilities
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working onsite
Primary Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the school nurse to ensure a thorough and holistic approach to the evaluation
- Prepare detailed, timely evaluation reports for educational and clinical teams
- Adhere to professional and legal standards for clinical practice in educational settings
- Communicate clearly with school staff regarding findings and recommendations
