Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lombard, IL

Make a difference in students' lives supporting a diverse caseload as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) working part-time in a dynamic therapeutic school setting. This contract role offers the chance to guide students with a variety of communication needs, ranging from kindergarteners to young adults, in a collaborative and supportive environment. Enjoy a flexible schedule of three days a week, typically Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, within the hours of 8:00am-2:30pm (or up to 3:00pm, based on preference). With the opportunity for additional hours, you’ll be able to maintain a balanced work-life rhythm while making a direct impact throughout the school year, from your start date through May 28th, 2027. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology School-based experience, particularly with therapeutic or special education populations, is highly preferred Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and supervise when necessary Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Responsibilities Include: Providing speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through age 22 Conducting evaluations and assessments as required Crafting individualized treatment plans and monitoring progress toward goals Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting IEP development Maintaining documentation and upholding compliance standards Benefits: Flexible part-time schedule tailored to your needs Collaborative, responsive leadership and supportive team environment Professional development within a private therapeutic day school Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40.
