Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat08:00 AM - 08:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, patient care corridors, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
