Job Description As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in CORPUS CHRISTI, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a college location, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support students, faculty, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.21 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThu11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements Able to ride a bike. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
