Interim Accounts Payable Specialist Up to $35/hour | Contract through October 31, 2026 | Immediate Need Vaco is partnering with a valued client seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support during a department transition. This role requires a hands‑on AP professional who can manage high‑volume invoice processing while bringing ideas for process improvements. Responsibilities: Process 800+ invoices per month Perform 3-way matching and invoice reconciliation Partner with operations and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies Support AP workflow improvements and department initiatives Maintain accurate records using SharePoint and AP systems Qualifications: 3+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience Strong 3-way match experience Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) Experience with SharePoint Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptable and able to thrive in a changing environment Preferred: Coupa experience Knowledge of taxability status and sales tax processing This opportunity starts ASAP and is expected to run through October 31, with possible extension.
