Position Summary: The Senior Market Manager supports market strategy, product management, and business development initiatives that drive profitable growth across assigned markets and product categories, working closely with the sales, marketing and product development teams to execute against company priorities. This role drives the product lifecycle from market insight and opportunity identification through roadmap development, new product introductions, product line extensions, pricing strategy, positioning, launch execution, and ongoing performance — partnering cross-functionally and with leadership to translate customer, competitive, clinical, regulatory, and distribution insights into actionable product and business development strategies. Product Strategy and Roadmap Execution: Support product strategy for assigned markets, including product vision, lifecycle planning, roadmap development, prioritization, and execution of new product introductions, product line extensions, improvements, and rationalization opportunities, in alignment with leadership direction. Market and Customer Insight: Conduct industry research, customer discovery, competitive analysis, clinical and purchasing requirement reviews, and market trend assessments to identify unmet needs, market gaps, growth opportunities, and future product requirements, and share findings with leadership to inform strategic decisions. Market Expansion and Business Development Support: Help identify new business opportunities, target markets, distribution channels, strategic partnerships, and install base growth opportunities that align with leadership's product strategy and company revenue goals. Customer and Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, internal stakeholders, and market influencers to gather insight, support adoption, and strengthen Brewer's market position. Sales and Growth Support: Support prospecting strategy, key account opportunities, trade show participation, customer demonstrations, and field sales efforts when product expertise or market strategy support is needed. Business Case Development: Build clear, data-supported business cases for product initiatives, including market size, customer needs, competitive positioning, pricing, margin expectations, operational considerations, launch requirements, and expected return on investment, for leadership review and approval. Product Definition and Positioning: Support the definition of product features, benefits, capabilities, value propositions, target users, use cases, and differentiation strategies for healthcare, dental, AES, Medical, OEM, and other assigned markets. New Product Introduction Support: Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to support product development efforts, align cross-functional priorities, help remove barriers, and support successful product launches. Pricing and Margin Strategy: Assist with and recommend pricing decisions, including distributor pricing, rebate contract pricing, GPO pricing, IDN pricing, government pricing, OEM pricing, and promotional strategies, for leadership consideration. Strategic Planning Support: Contribute to company strategic planning by preparing market summaries, product recommendations, strategic presentations, product proposals, and business-related documents with accuracy, clarity, and professional presentation for leadership. Competitive Intelligence: Maintain current competitive data on pricing, product features, benefits, specifications, market claims, customer feedback, and competitive positioning; ensure competitive information is reviewed and updated regularly and shared with leadership. Pipeline and Forecasting: Develop and monitor sales pipeline contributions, market demand signals, product forecasts, and related KPIs using available tools such as CRM, Power BI, and other reporting systems, reporting findings to leadership. Sales Enablement and Partner Support: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create training, positioning, launch materials, product education, and distributor or partner communication that clearly communicate product value and market fit. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key connector between product, commercial, manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams, ensuring product decisions are grounded in market needs and operational realities and aligned with leadership priorities.
