Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing our therapists to connect with clients in a comfortable setting from anywhere in Arizona. Our telehealth model not only broadens access for individuals seeking help, but it also offers flexible scheduling opportunities for our staff members. You will work standard office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours required for client appointments on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, recognizing the complex nature of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients in developing tailored treatment plans, integrating evidence-based interventions to target both mental health and substance use needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions that emphasize the development of coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Engage in regular consultations with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that treatment is coordinated among psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists.

• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients towards self-discovery and commitment to their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their support system about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adhering to treatment protocols.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and any referrals made, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continued education opportunities to improve and expand treatment approaches for clients with co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapies specifically aimed at treating co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the interplay between mental health issues and substance use disorders, allowing for integrated treatment planning.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team dynamic.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with digital health platforms.
