As a Security Officer Pharmaceutical Building Patrol in Gaithersburg, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare research and pharmaceutical location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence consistent with Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
