Join a team focused on delivering transparent, reliable, and meaningful environmental metrics.As a Carbon Accounting Specialist, Senior Associate in Operational Sustainability, you support the end-to-end greenhouse gas inventory lifecycle and help deliver high-quality, audit-ready emissions data. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, apply sound methodologies, and enhance reporting processes. You contribute to emissions measurement, analysis, and regulatory disclosures while helping strengthen governance and controls. This role provides the opportunity to influence how emissions data is used to inform strategy and reporting. Job ResponsibilitiesSupport development and maintenance of greenhouse gas inventories across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3Perform emissions calculations using established methodologies and ensure data accuracy through quality control processesAnalyze emissions data to identify trends, variances, and data quality issuesPartner with stakeholders to source, validate, and manage datasets used in emissions measurementExecute data validation, reconciliations, and exception management to support completeness and accuracyMaintain clear documentation of data sources, assumptions, and calculation logic for audit readinessSupport development and maintenance of carbon accounting methodologies and internal documentationAssist with external assurance processes by preparing supporting materials and responding to audit requestsContribute to strengthening controls and governance across emissions reporting processesSupport preparation of regulatory and voluntary disclosures and adapt reporting to evolving requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, structured outputs and insights from emissions dataRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills4 years of experience in greenhouse gas accounting, sustainability reporting, environmental analytics, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting standards, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions conceptsExperience performing analysis, validation, and reconciliation of large or complex datasetsExperience supporting audit, controls, or assurance processes with documentation and evidenceExperience working with carbon accounting or sustainability data platformsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsExperience supporting regulatory disclosures or frameworks (e.g., climate-related reporting requirements or voluntary disclosures)Experience developing data models, calculation logic, or reporting structuresFamiliarity with emissions forecasting or scenario analysis approachesExperience working in a large, matrixed organization with cross-functional stakeholdersKnowledge of evolving sustainability regulations and standardsAdditional InformationTo be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
