An opportunity exists for an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician to join a team focused on sterile compounding in a cleanroom environment. This full-time contract position is based in Cicero, IL, and requires strong hands-on IV compounding experience to prepare sterile IV medications safely and accurately.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and compounding sterile IV medications, including antibiotics, hydration solutions, minibags, syringes, and other sterile preparations
• Following strict aseptic techniques and sterile compounding procedures in compliance with USP <797> guidelines
• Accurately labeling, packaging, and preparing medications for dispensing
• Assisting with prescription filling and data entry as needed
• Maintaining cleanroom standards and ensuring a safe, sterile work environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• 2+ years of recent hands-on IV compounding experience is required
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• Proven experience working in a sterile compounding cleanroom environment
• Solid knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile preparation procedures
• PTCB certification and Sterile Compounding Certificate are preferred but not mandatory
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
