Hourly Pay Range:$23.24 - $34.86 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.HR Records Compliance SpecialistThe HR Records Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of employee records across the organization. This role requires deeper knowledge of compliance requirements, independent judgment, and the ability to conduct audits, interpret policies, and support regulatory readiness in a healthcare setting.Position Highlights:Position: HR Records Compliance SpecialistLocation: Skokie, ILFull Time/Part Time: Full timeHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pmRequired Travel: travel to Warrenville will be requiredWhat you will do:Conduct detailed audits of employee records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulatory requirementsReview and validate complex documentation (e.g., licensure, certifications, background checks, I-9 compliance)Investigate and resolve discrepancies in employee recordsServe as a subject matter resource for recordkeeping and compliance standardsSupport regulatory surveys, audits, and accreditation processesReview and respond to unemployment claims to ensure timely submission of requested informationMaintain tracking systems for licenses, certifications, and required documentationIdentify trends or gaps in compliance and recommend process improvementsPartner with HR, compliance, and operational leaders to process record requestsMay provide guidance or training to entry-level staffWhat you will need:Education: Required: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)Certification: n/aExperience:2 years+ of HR, compliance, or records management experience, required.Experience in healthcare or regulated environments, preferred.
