Recruiter Position

Our focus areas include Customer Service, Sales, Operations, Accounting & Finance, IT, and Administrative Support—primarily within the Energy sector—and we continue to expand as a dynamic and evolving firm.

We're currently seeking a driven, results-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, team-focused, and committed to excellence, bringing a strong history of Respect, Innovation, Growth, Honesty, and Teamwork to their work.

Bachelor's degree required: 2-3 years of full cycle recruiting experience in a staffing agency environment. Experience with both temp and direct hire placements is required. Background in high-volume temp recruiting CRM or ATS experience is a plus. 360 Recruiting/business development strongly preferred. Technical recruiting experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Source, attract, and recruit qualified candidates for contract, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities using a variety of methods: job boards, social media, referrals, job fairs, and networking events
• Conduct prescreens, interviews and thoroughly qualify candidates to ensure a strong match for client roles and company culture
• Communicate the value of Riverway's services and support candidates through every step of the hiring and onboarding process
• Manage the full recruitment life cycle across multiple roles and industries
• Maintain and update candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal databases
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of both active and passive candidates
• Support HR compliance by guiding candidates through onboarding and pre-employment processes
• Collaborate with teammates and senior leadership to continuously improve recruiting strategies and outcomes
• Prioritize quality over quantity in all recruitment efforts, ensuring thoughtful matches between talent and opportunity
• Practice strong interpersonal skills including active listening, clear communication, and adaptability
• Conduct reference checks for employment to confirm quality talent
• Recruit for high-volume, contract/temp roles to support the growth of our temporary staffing division
• Engage with clients and hiring managers; strong client-facing and relationship-building skills are highly valued

Education:
