Work Environment

The position is full-time and requires onsite presence at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Miami Gardens. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team that includes fellow physical therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and support staff. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, providing you with a balanced schedule that enhances your personal life while meeting the demands of your professional role.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans that aim to enhance mobility and physical function.
• Maintain a patient roster with an emphasis on quality care, managing typically one patient per hour to ensure comprehensive attention to each case.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer effective therapies and interventions that prioritize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs rooted in each patient's specific conditions and goals.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, reducing reliance on medications while fostering holistic recovery strategies.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients to encourage adherence to treatment plans and motivate them throughout their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and multidisciplinary approaches that enhance patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Restore Wellness, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic pain, and clients seeking to improve their mobility and strength. Your approach will address not just physical rehabilitation but also the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery, guiding patients through each stage of their rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Florida without any disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise program development, and use of EMR software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, providing a solid foundation for managing diverse patient needs.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities is advantageous, as is a background in sports rehabilitation or pediatrics.

Compensation and Benefits
