Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to determine their specific orthopedic therapy needs and develop comprehensive, tailored treatment plans.
• Implement treatment protocols as directed by physician care plans while adhering to agency policies and national standards of care.
• Provide exceptional patient care, including the administration of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education on home exercise programs.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate them about treatment options, recovery processes, and in-home exercises, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring they have the necessary patient information to deliver coordinated care effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic pain management. Our team is dedicated to employing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a supportive environment that encourages recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating capability in treating a diverse range of orthopedic conditions.
• Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are mandatory to ensure safety during patient care.
• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record systems and a solid foundation in documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Involvement in community outreach or wellness education programs to support holistic patient care.
• Proficiency in advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, which may include aquatic therapy, manual therapy, or therapeutic exercise.

Compensation and Benefits
