Work Environment

The work setting at our outpatient clinic is dynamic and patient-centered, with a commitment to providing high-quality care. You will be working alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative staff, all dedicated to the shared goal of optimizing patient outcomes. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while allowing ample time to focus on each patient's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and needs, gathering insights to inform tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs that utilize evidence-based techniques, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical observations and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on injury prevention tactics and proper body mechanics to facilitate a safe and effective rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address any complex patient needs, drawing insights from occupational therapists or other medical professionals as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with adult patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and other conditions that impact physical function. Our patient demographic is diverse, and each individual presents unique challenges and goals. Your interventions will directly contribute to enhancing their quality of life and overall satisfaction with the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's Degree preferred.
• An active Florida physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain it prior to employment.
• A strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation trends, showcasing your commitment to continued learning.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with a broad range of diagnoses and treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits
