Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton. The work environment promotes teamwork and a strong sense of community among healthcare professionals. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with physical therapy assistants (PTAs), physicians, and other healthcare practitioners to enhance patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, understanding their unique challenges, and establishing realistic and achievable therapeutic goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs tailored to each patient's needs, employing various therapeutic modalities and exercises.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on effective home exercise programs and care strategies to promote continued recovery outside the clinic.
• Collaborate extensively with referring physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging environment that supports patient rehabilitation, enhancing their engagement and commitment to the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse range of individuals needing outpatient rehabilitation services. You will interact with patients recovering from sports injuries, recent surgeries, age-related musculoskeletal issues, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to understand the individual experiences of these patients and tailor your treatment approach will be vital in supporting their unique recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• A deep-rooted passion for providing patient-centered care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience is preferred, new graduates passionate about rehabilitation are encouraged to apply as mentorship will be provided. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus, as efficient documentation is essential in maintaining high standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
