Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical impairments and functional limitations, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their individual needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans focusing on outpatient orthopedics and spine conditions, adjusting as necessary to achieve patient goals.
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities as appropriate.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage with patients, their families, and support personnel to effectively communicate treatment objectives and strategies, fostering a supportive environment for healing.
• Responsible for completing required documentation related to patient care, including progress notes and discharge summaries, while minimizing administrative burdens.
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory standards within the physical therapy profession, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on outpatient orthopedic patients, particularly those recovering from elective and emergency spine surgeries. Our patients range from young adults to seniors, each with unique challenges and treatment needs. The successful PT will possess the experience and empathy necessary to positively impact patients' recovery journeys and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's (MSPT) or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• Current valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida, with an understanding of compliance expectations.
• CPR certification upon hire is mandatory, with ongoing maintenance required throughout employment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems along with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience
