Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and optimizing muscle function in clients.
• Overseeing the implementation of care plans by our Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring all interventions align with the prescribed treatment objectives.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through a range of diagnostic tests to inform treatment strategies.
• Assessing clients' home environments and providing recommendations that enhance their independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Delivering therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician, encompassing manual exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and the application of physical agents.
• Administering and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices as necessary, collaborating with physicians for required modifications.
• Maintaining comprehensive clinical records, including evaluations and progress notes, while engaging in regular updates to care plans based on patient progress.
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to discuss and refine treatment strategies in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy techniques and device usage, ensuring understanding and compliance with care protocols.
• Continually evaluating the therapeutic journey and suggesting improvements to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role directly impacts a diverse client population, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or rehabilitating after injury. Our patients come from various backgrounds and age groups, each requiring tailored therapeutic strategies that honor their unique circumstances and health goals. You will engage with clients on a personal level, contributing to their recovery and empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their conditions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a current PT license in good standing within the state of Florida.
• At least two years of clinical experience with a strong foundation in outpatient care practices.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• A positive and proactive approach toward providing patient-centered care and advocating for quality treatment options.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

A candidate with one year in a home health setting or similar environment may be favored. Experience working within a collaborative healthcare team and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems would be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
