Quality Assurance Technician 1st Shift

Objective: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for sampling, monitoring and auditing all production processes, documenting findings as required. Job Responsibilities: Evaluate and address issues with line during pre-op procedures Work with sanitation crew to release lines during pre-op procedures Perform and document all in-line checks on predesigned time schedule Perform and document process control testing sample collections Assists with FS lab duties as directed, including performing enrichments Verify packaging integrity by performing seal checks Collect controlled samples from each production run Monitor, correct and document GMP violations within facility Assist QA management with Foreign Material inspections as needed Assist QA management with sample tests as needed Train in all areas available for assigned shift Notify supervisor of any quality defects present in product along process flow Identify Food Safety Hazards and address appropriately Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Previous quality experience preferred Experienced with computers, iPad technology Must have a desire to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction, process, product quality, and reliability. Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
