Hi! I’m Shayne Klopp, the Sr. Sales Manager here at Health Insurance Alliance (HIA), and we’re looking for highly motivated Senior Sales Agents to join our team.

HIA is a fast growing, technology focused insurance sales company committed to providing clients with a simple, seamless healthcare experience.

Our agents have access to high quality, self generated leads through our in house marketing team, advanced dialing and texting strategies, and a dedicated team of Future Agents who pre qualify prospects for interest and budget.

We invest over $10,000 per week per agent in leads and marketing, providing our sales team with fresh, warm, pre qualified contacts throughout the day.

As a Senior Sales Agent, you’ll help clients navigate ACA/Marketplace and U65 health insurance options, guide them through enrollment, and identify opportunities for ancillary products.

The Opportunity

• You will be the main point of contact for customers looking to enroll in an ACA/Marketplace plan or a U65 plan, creating effective sales presentations of available products based on individual needs and budget.

• You will be the subject matter expert in our products and policies across both ACA and U65 lines, and be able to simplify the process for customers to understand.

• You will upsell ancillary products (e.g. dental and vision) where relevant.

• You will be the main point of contact to complete enrollments, collecting confidential personal information to transfer an e-application to our verification department for submission, recording, and approval.

• You will be responsible for determining if the customer is the right fit for our products, and where they are not, transferring them appropriately (including warm transfers to partners in our lead distribution network).

What you bring to the table

• You have demonstrated experience in the Insurance sales industry, including full releases and selling supplements.

• You must have an active 215 license OR a 214 license and 240 license (with all carrier releases from previous employment)

• You are highly motivated in your own success - we provide you with the tools, but it is ultimately up to you to use them.

• Must be punctual and a team player.

• You must have fast internet, a good computer, a great headset, and a webcam/smartphone to partake in daily company meetings.

This is a hybrid position (Our HQ is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33334)

Please keep in mind, our team works overtime for Open Enrollment.

OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD - We have extreme seasonality during our OEP. This is the time of year when the entire country is looking for health insurance. It runs from ~Nov 1 - Dec 15. We will be working long hours, are compensated well, and make a lot of sales in the process.

Compensation

The pay structure is Commission Only. Our Senior Sales Agents on average are making up to $2,000 per week, plus bonuses and spiffs, outside of Open Enrollment.
