HR Coordinator

Amarr, a part of global opening solutions leader ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and people-focused HR Coordinator to support our Mocksville, NC facilities. The ideal candidate is a self-driven and positive professional who enjoys helping others, building strong relationships, and creating an exceptional employee experience. This position plays a key role in supporting employees, coordinating recruiting activities, maintaining HR records and systems, and contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture. The successful candidate will be comfortable interacting with team members at all levels of the organization, balancing multiple priorities, and providing high-quality service in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or office support experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across two locations.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or payroll systems (ADP preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to support employees at all levels.
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in times of high-stress.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and attend special events and training when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.

Other Job Responsibilities and Physical Requirements

• Good manual dexterity to perform computer functions.
• Ability to perform light office duties and activities, including use of computers and other office equipment.
• Position requires extended sitting/standing and occasional bending/stooping and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
