Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 1845-0715; 36 or 48-hour weekly contracts accepted; longer contracts available through February 27, 2027; 12-16 weekend shifts per contract required

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Neurological nursing experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Experience with CVA patients, IV management, and isolation precautions
• Must successfully pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information:

• Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team; may be required to report during catastrophic events or disasters
• Pre-approved time off limited; up to 7 days may be auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Additional time off requests after contract signing are not permitted
• Navy scrubs required
• Pre-start online modules required (approximately 8-10 hours, non-billable)
• Floating to other units within the facility may be required
