Director, Device Project Management

AstraZeneca seeks a Director of Device Project Management to lead a group managing parenteral combination product delivery across clinical and commercial stages. The role requires strategic oversight of project timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration with CMC, regulatory, quality, and development teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Device Project Management group with accountability for resource, budget, and talent management
Ensure combination product programs meet delivery timelines, quality standards, and strategic alignment
Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and technology for portfolio oversight
Facilitate planning and execution of Design Control deliverables and strategy implementation
Lead strategic initiatives in device project management and combination product development

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
10+ years product development experience with 5+ years project management focused on combination products
3+ years leading a project management office
Experience planning and executing device development within combination product context
Proven ability managing distributed resources across multiple sites and time zones
Working knowledge of biopharmaceutical product development and Design Controls
Professional Project Management certification (desired)

Compensation: $159,369–$239,054 base annual
