Scaffold Foreman

Position Title: Scaffold Foreman Location: Industrial and Commercial Project Sites Pay Rate: $ 28.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime and Double Time Available Position Summary PRT Staffing is seeking an experienced Scaffold Foreman to lead scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling activities on industrial job sites. The Foreman is responsible for supervising scaffold crews, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, coordinating daily work activities, and maintaining productivity while delivering high-quality scaffolding solutions. Supervise and direct scaffold crews during erection, modification, and dismantling operations. Conduct and document Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for all scaffold-related tasks. Identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements. Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials needed for scaffold projects. Inspect scaffold components for defects, damage, and compliance prior to use. Ensure scaffolds are built according to engineering drawings, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards. Lead daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning sessions. Train and mentor scaffold carpenters and apprentices on proper work practices and safety procedures. Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and project documentation. Coordinate with site supervision, contractors, and project management regarding project progress and workforce needs. Enforce housekeeping standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Minimum of 3 years scaffold supervision or foreman experience in industrial or commercial environments. Extensive experience with Pin Lock Scaffold Systems . Strong knowledge of scaffold construction, load capacities, fall protection, and OSHA regulations. Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings, plans, and specifications. Experience leading crews and managing productivity on active construction or industrial sites. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work at heights and in varying outdoor conditions. Preferred Qualifications Scaffold Competent Person Certification. NCCER Scaffold Certification or equivalent. First Aid/CPR Certification. Experience working in refineries, power plants, manufacturing facilities, or industrial shutdowns. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and working at elevated heights. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime as project demands require. Must be able to wear required PPE, including fall protection equipment.
