Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor and staff directions, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Complete required reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
