Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to improve mental health outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on therapeutic efficacy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated and comprehensive care.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical documentation standards, maintaining client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also have the opportunity to work with vulnerable populations, including refugees, domestic abuse victims, and the homeless. Your role is crucial in providing these individuals with the support they need to recover and thrive.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
