This role is designed to be performed remotely, with the option to engage with clients via secure telehealth platforms or in our outpatient office in Galveston when necessary. We maintain a flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance your professional commitments while providing high-quality care. Your core working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of other mental health professionals in an environment that fosters continued learning and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' needs, aspirations, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide sessions and maximize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our patient population includes diverse groups, ranging from adolescents to adults, who are seeking support in managing their mental health challenges. You may also have the opportunity to work with underserved populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, allowing you to contribute to meaningful community impact.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
