If you can sell homes, solar, phones, insurance, furniture, memberships, hospitality, retail products or B2B services, you already have something valuable. We can teach you the vehicles, the technology and the process.

We are hiring a limited class of competitive, coachable sales professionals for Tim Moran Ford, Tim Moran Chevrolet and Tim Moran Hyundai. Automotive experience is welcome - but it is not required. Bring the drive, the discipline and the personality. We will give you a structured launch into one of the best income opportunities in retail sales.

THE MONEY - CLEARLY STATED

• Base pay: $16.90 per hour for all hours worked, with overtime paid in accordance with California law.
• Uncapped commissions and performance bonuses. The better you perform, the more you earn.
• 90-day launch protection: Qualified hires are guaranteed at least $12,000 in total gross compensation during their first 90 calendar days.*
• Reasonably expected total compensation: $60,000-$150,000 per year. Exceptional high performers can exceed $200,000. Individual results vary.
• Anticipated commission and bonus component: approximately $18,000-$100,000 annually, depending on production and pay-plan results.

Full-time retail schedule: 40 regular hours plus typically 5-10 overtime hours per week. Evenings and weekends are part of the business.

WHO WILL THRIVE HERE

• You have successful sales or customer-facing experience. Automotive experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• You listen well, communicate clearly and can persuade without becoming pushy.
• You are resilient. A 'no' makes you adjust and follow up - it does not make you disappear.
• You are competitive, coachable, organized and accountable for your own results.
• You are comfortable using the phone, text, email, video and social media to create business.
• You have a valid California driver's license and a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Respond quickly and professionally to showroom, phone, internet and social-media opportunities.
• Ask smart questions, understand the customer's needs and guide them to the right vehicle.
• Demonstrate vehicles, explain value, ask for the sale and make the buying experience memorable.
• Make 100 outbound sales calls, send 50 emails, send 15 hand written letters or postcards, have a minimum of 10 MEANINGFUL conversations daily to "warm" prospects
• Send 50 email emails daily to "warm" prospects
• Use the CRM every day to follow up, set appointments and build repeat and referral business.
• Complete dealership and manufacturer training and continuously sharpen your craft.
