Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most complex business needs, including Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Managed ServicesResponsibilitiesAdd value through complex transactions including IPOs, SPACs, M&A, and Divestitures.Add value to clients to successfully prepare and complete auditsBegin to understand and assist clients in technical topics and financial reporting areas which can include, but are not limited to:Revenue recognitionStock-based compensationLeasesFixed assetsAccrued expenses and other liabilitiesFinancial statement preparationAccount reconciliations and cut-offIncome statement classification and allocationSEC reportingQuarterizationDetailed revenue analysis and revenue recognitionAssist in drafting or review complex sets of financial statements with disclosuresAssist in SEC Reporting, including 10K, 10Q and other filingsIdentification and application of technical accounting guidance to client situationsIdentify, analyze, and discuss generally accepted accounting principles on client projects, when necessary, with the Manager, Senior Manager and engagement partnerIdentify complex accounting issues and bring them to the attention of engagement leaders for resolutionDesired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required1-3 years of prior experience in public accounting or relevant industry role is requiredCPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of certificationAbility to take responsibility and account for his/her own workHard working, detail oriented and ability to work independentlyAbility to work well in a team atmosphereProfessional and personable demeanorProven solid verbal and written communication skillsPassion for helping clients with a strong interest in technical accountingAptitude for technical accounting research and self-education, desire to learn and be an expertProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skillsSome travel may be expected (About 10%)Connor Group is committed to celebrating the value of diversity in a globally connected business world.
