Lead CustodianThe Lead Custodian is responsible for overseeing custodial operations to maintain clean, safe, and secure County facilities. The role provides direction, training, and performance input for custodial staff while coordinating routine and specialized cleaning, floor care, event setups, minor maintenance, grounds work, and snow removal. Additional responsibilities include monitoring supplies, completing required documentation, inspecting facilities, and ensuring building security. The position requires regular physical activity, safe operation of custodial and maintenance equipment, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to support an inclusive and quality focused work environment.DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:Experience providing training and work direction to othersExperience delivering consistent and excellent customer serviceExperience in custodial work in a commercial building or manufacture buildingSELECTION TECHNIQUE: Your training and experience will be rated based on the required application material submitted and the top scoring candidates will be forwarded to the hiring department for further consideration.HOURS/DAYS: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work, schedules (hours and days) are subject to change based on department needs.ANTICIPATED HIRING RANGE: $22.79 - $26.90 Hourly E-Verify Participation: Washington County participates in the federal E-Verify program.
